An innovative leader in the holistic approach to healthcare, Dr. Minshew-Shurr specializes in the care of dance and sports injuries. She has been in private practice since 1981 and maintains privileges at The Palladium for Surgery – Dallas where she is certified to perform MUA procedures. (Manipulation Under Anesthesia). This procedure is designed and utilized in the treatment of more difficult cases such as herniated or bulging disc, facet syndrome, frozen shoulder, Fibromyalgia, and failed back surgeries which have not responded to conservative care.

Dr. Minshew-Shurr feels there is no one discipline that can address all healthcare problems, however it is important to begin with the basics and “there is nothing more basic than a holistic approach.”
